Getting from the airport to the hotel
Santiago International Airport is located approximately 20 kms west of the centre of Santiago. The quickest and easiest way to get from the airport to the hotel is to use an official taxi. Inside the main terminal when you exit customs you will find official taxi booths where you can arrange for a taxi to take you to your hotel.
The cost of a taxi can vary but should be between $20.000 and $25.000 Chilean pesos.

Public transport in Santiago
The easiest way to use public transport in Santiago is with a prepaid card ("tarjeta bip!"). These can be bought in any Metro station.
The cards cost $1.500 Chilean pesos and each journey costs approximately $740 Chilean pesos, depending on the time of day.
Getting to the Workshop
The Workshop will take place at the Auditorium Ninoslav Bralic, Campus San Joaquin, Universidad Católica. The address is Avenida Vicuña Mackenna 4860, Macul, Santiago.
It is opposite the metro station San Joaquin (Line 5 - see map of the metro system).
From 6 am to 9 am and from 6 pm to 9 pm, Line 5 operates 2 services ("verde" (green) and "rojo" (red)) and the trains stop at alternate stations.
Only the red train stops at San Joaquin station. If you are coming from Bellas Artes station you will need to get off the green service at Baquedano station and wait for the next red train.
Once you are on campus, there will be signs that guide you from the main entrance of the campus to Auditorium Ninoslav Bralic (see map below).
